GLOCK 's Safe Action® system is a unique safety system consisting of three passive, independently operating mechanical safeties. These three safeties activate sequentially when the trigger is pulled and automatically re-activate when the trigger is released.

Here is some important information about the Safe Action® system :

• Trigger safety : A small lever in the trigger prevents accidental release.
• Firing Pin Safety : A pin blocks the firing pin until the trigger is fully pulled.
• Drop Safety : An additional mechanism prevents the weapon from being fired in the event of a fall.
